Marcus Fabrics Evelyn's Hope Chest by Carrie Quinn
A beautiful packed Jacobean floral print from the Smithsonian was the starting point for this group by Carrie Quinn (Pieceful Gathering Quilt Shop). Carrie also took inspiration from the Lane hope chests that were popular in the 1960s and 70s, mostly storing quilts that were largely stitched by hand at the time and saved for marriage. The collection is named after Carrie's youngest granddaughter, Evelyn, who loves pink. "I wanted to concentrate on soft pinks and chocolate browns, with red accents." Evelyn's Hope Chest by Carrie Quinn for Marcus Fabrics features reproduction quilting fabrics by the yard, precut 10 inch squares, precut 5 inch squares, 2 1/2 inch fabric strips, fat quarters, 108" wide quilt backings, quilt patterns, and quilt kits. Marcus Fabrics prints Evelyn's Hope Chest on a premium 44 inch wide cotton quilting fabric.
