Marcus Fabrics Bentley's Snowflakes by Smithsonian Institution
Inspired by the early photography of Wilson A. Bentley, taken in 1885, which captured the microscopic details and crystalline structures of actual snowflakes. In 1903 he shared these images with the Smithsonian; these were later added to the Smithsonian's archives. Bentley's Snowflakes from the Smithsonian Institution for Marcus Fabrics features snowflake quilting fabrics by the yard, individual snowflake quilting panels, fat quarters, ten inch squares, 2 1/2 inch strips, quilt patterns, and quilt kits. Marcus Fabrics prints the Bentley's Snowflakes collection on a premium 44 inch wide cotton quilting fabric.
